
Diamond Jim Garing, Dean Tutor and Jim’s wife Kathy. Jim’s suit was made by “The Maharajah Clothiers” Ubon Thailand (but based in DaNang) in October, 1969. Kathy made her dress from a bolt of cloth Jim sent home. Jim is also wearing his 225 carat Smoky Topaz pendant which, along with their ruby wedding rings was made by Paul’s Jewelers right across the street from The Maharajah.
Dean ejected from his crippled jet over DaNang Bay and nearly lost his life when he became entangled in his parachute shroud line with only half of his Mae West inflated.
